Childhood is sanctifying, they say.
Puzzled eyes, fragile bodies and laughter for display.
No worry for another moment, you are perhaps the sun, the centre of attention,
He does not even have to worry for deadlines or detentions.
But the child was lost, the whole boyhood was
When little rugged hands were selling tea in a glass.
Alas! Nobody gave him salve from their baby’s layette, not a bit. Cause only he knows what losing childishness is in the callous life; an unkind gift.
And the child was lost, the whole girlhood was
When the flower was uprooted and used; flesh being the cause.
Alas! All the eyes were turned towards ignorance, which not always is bliss; Even though she was yelling for justice, her virginity remiss.
It was actually the child within me I lost, the faith in it was
When my hands could do no job and my flesh did not give justice to the loss.
Alas! The time did not rewind and what’s gone was gone forever to show,
That childhood is not a blessing; it’s an opportunity to grow; partial though.

You seemed to have captured the horrors of having the one thing that goes into making oneself "human" to be snatched away in ways one are likely to have little power to keep it from losing in a way the silently roars in the minds of those to choose to suffocate their conscience and turn a blind eye to their responsibility as a human...
